Work Opportunities
-
During studies: International students are allowed to work part-time, but finding a job without Finnish language skills can be difficult. Students should not rely on part-time work to fund their studies and must arrange sufficient financial support in advance.
-
After graduation: International students may explore post-study employment opportunities, but job placement is not guaranteed. Opportunities in business and IT are currently limited, and lack of Finnish language skills can make employment even more challenging.
- Language matters: English helps a lot — but picking up Finnish/Swedish can boost your chances even more.
